Round table “Local economic challenges in the Western Balkans”
Round
table on "Local economic challenges in the Western Balkans" was held in
Brčko on 03 July. The main purpose of this round table was to initiate
interaction between local leaders who are successfully transforming their communities
and practitioners and experts who are dealing with local economic concepts,
methodologies and tools, in order to identify and further develop specific
challenges and offer adequate answers related to local development issues in
Western Balkans. Results of this round table will be published and will serve as
a guideline for annual conference of BH mayor’s planned for October 2009.
This event was organized within the project FIELD („Framework for inclusive and efficient local
development in BH“) implamaneted by Eda Banja Luka and supported by Open
Society Fund BH and Local Governance Initiative Budapest.
