Centers for Civic Initiatives completed a research on relationship between municipal mayors and municipal parliaments in BiH, and created recommendations for improvement of existing policies in this area. These recommendations aim at improvement of existing legislation targeting local self-governance in BH in a way to more precisely define relations between municipal parliaments and mayors and to bring the process of recall of mayors into direct link with real citizens needs minimazing at the same time political malpractices.
This research was realized within the project „Mayor s office in the BiH local self-governance system“ implemented by the Centers for Civic Initiatives and supported by the Open Society Fund BiH and Municipal Development Program Doboj.
