Policy Development Fellowship Program 2005/2006

Open Society Fund BiH launched the “Policy Development Fellowship Program" in early 2004 with the aim to strengthen the domestic policy community in BiH. The main goal of the Program is to improve BiH policy research and dialogue and to contribute to the development of a sound policy-making culture based on informative and empirically grounded policy options.

Adisa Omerbegović, Ph.D.

Adisa Omerbegović, Ph.D. in International Macroeconomics and Finance, with background in corporate finance and accounting. She has worked in the field of investment management and valuation including the completion of a number of direct investment and acquisition projects. Her recent experience includes managment of the finance and accounting functions of an NGO organization in Malaysia. She has experience in facilitating courses in Asia, Europe and USA. Currently teaching finance and accounting related subjects at Sarajevo Graduate School of Business.

Adnan Efendić

Adnan Efendić was born on 04th January 1978. He graduated at the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo with outstanding results and was awarded as one of the best students of human sciences in BH. The Master thesis at the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo completed in 2004. His scientific-research work is based in fields of Macroeconomics and European economy. He has finished numbers of specializations at European universities, published 16 papers in domestic and foreign publications, and had presentation at 6 international conferences. He works as the senior teaching assistant at the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo.

Daria Duilović

Daria Duilović obtained her BA degree at the University of Sarajevo majoring in Literature and Philosophy and completed her MA in European Studies through a joint programe of the Universities of Bologna and Sarajevo. She is currently working towards her PhD in European Studies at the University of Zadar. She is employed as the Senior Education Adviser in the Office of the High Representative in Sarajevo.

Darko Datzer

Darko Datzer, was born in Tuzla in 1976. He holds BA degree in Criminal Justice. Currently works as Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Criminal Justice Sciences, University of Sarajevo. He is involved in many research projects dealing with fight against corruption in BiH, foremost from the criminal justice point of view. Author and co-author of articles, reviews and translations in the field of criminalistics and criminal justice. Attendant of Post- Graduate Study European Criminology, Criminalistics and Criminal Justice (2004-2006). Dejan Vanjek

Dejan Vanjek, dpob14.04.1975 in Sarajevo; - In the year 2000. received BA degree in Zagreb (Croatia) at the Faculty «Studia Croatica», philosophy/croatology (comparative study of the Croatian culture); - In the year 2002. took MA degree in Sarajevo/Bologna at the European Regional Master in Democracy and Human Rights for South-East Europe, organized by the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies of the University in Sarajevo, with Thesis: «The possibility of an authentic human rights ethic and perspectives for its global acceptance»; - Since October 2002. works in the Office for cooperation with Interpol in Sarajevo, where he still works as expert advisor; - Author of several published works in the field of human security; human rights and democracy; philosophy of the law and politics.

Gorana Mlinarević

Gorana Mlinarević (1973) obtained MA degree in Human Rights and Democracy in South-East Europe at the postgraduate program jointly run by the University of Sarajevo and University of Bologna. Currently works as the Head of the Centre for Registry, Documentation, Information and Publication at the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Natasa Zrilić

Reuf Bajrović

Reuf Bajrović was born on July 13, 1977. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from University of Lousiville in United States. In 2001 he completed his MA in Human Rights and Democracy from University of Sarajevo and University of Bologna. In 2002 he completed another MA in Governance and Policy of European Integration at the Univeristy of Bologna. Since he has worked on human rights based assessment and development at municipal level. Also, he is a member of the Executive Board of ACIPS. At present he works as an independent consultant in the areas of EU integration and governance.
